Thanksgiving 2006

Today is Thanksgiving in the year of our Lord 2006. Family Friendly Gaming has so much to be thankful for this year, and wants to spend a few moments reflecting upon this last year giving thanks. First and foremost those of us at Family Friendly Gaming are thankful to God. His grace of dying on the cross for us is the greatest gift anyone could ever give. As the shopping season for Christmas starts, we are thankful for the true meaning of Christmas. Speaking of retailers, we are thankful that so many retailers offer such amazing deals the day after Thanksgiving.

We are thankful for family, and friends. It is so awesome to be able to spend so much time with them, and fellowship with one another. We are thankful that we are free to pray together, eat together, and to be so very blessed. Thanksgiving is a time to dwell on all of the things we have. Americans are the most blessed people of the entire world, and we have so much to be thankful for. We are thankful for our health, homes, and pursuit of happiness. We are thankful for small government, and low taxes (compared to some other nations).

We are so very thankful to each and every one of ya'll out there who stop by this website. We are thankful to every single one of ya'll who purchase copies of the Family Friendly Gaming magazine. We are thankful to all of the emails we receive on a variety of issues. We are thankful to all of the video game developers who have been mailing us video games to review. We are very thankful to all of the wonderful PR people we have met, and the plethora of content they have sent Family Friendly Gaming's way. We are thankful for all of the correspondence we have received thanking us for what we do.

So while you are eating some turkey, and watching some television, try out the thankful game. The thankful game is where each person gives one thing they are thankful for. It can be played for hours as each person comes up with something new that they are thankful for. Did you get a Nintendo Wii, or Playstation 3 recently? That would be something to be thankful for. Do you have a roof over your head? Again, there is something to be thankful for. Do you have people that love, and care about you? See how easy it is to find something to be thankful for? If you are working, then you can be thankful that you have a job. It really is as Jesus Christ taught, and how you look at it. {11/23/2006}
